Systems are typically deployed on a Windows server using IIS for Web and application services and may also be deployed on any UNIX/LINUX server. Supported Web server software includes Apache, IIS, Tomcat, ServletExec.
CS-Enterprise data is stored in a standard relational database, allowing the Web site to be dynamically updated as products change and new products become available. Supported databases include SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, and PostgreSQL.
CS-Enterprise applications support local languages, currencies and date formats. CS-Enterprise database architecture promotes the use of dynamically retrieved text and product element which eliminates the need for hard-coded labels, messages and product data. CS-Enterprise is built on Unicode-compliant platforms.
CS-Enterprise is designed to operate in an Internet browser environment and may be implemented utilizing a java-applet (which requires a JRE on the client) or AJAX user GUI. The recommended browser versions for CS-Enterprise are Microsoft IE 6+ and Mozilla 5+.
CS-Enterprise is built on a Java compliant platform, making it compatible with most hardware and software platforms and consequently easily integrated with other business systems, notably ERP and legacy systems. And if your current business system isn't capable of regular integration with CS-Enterprise, the CS Development staff can work with you to develop an API to assist in the integration.
